As SeniorComplianceSpecialist,you'lljoin theteamsupporting Akaysha'soperations as a global corporationacross every phase oftheasset lifecycle.Recently, theLegal, Risk & Compliance Pillar hasdelivered significant outcomes across regulatory tenders, financing facilities, and large-scale asset construction.
Building on this momentum, theSenior Compliance Specialistextends beyond energy market regulation;developingandmaintainingenterprise-wide compliance frameworks across all corporate and project activitiesinAustralia and all otherjurisdictionsin which Akayshaoperates.
Partneringwith the Principal Compliance Counsel, and the Senior Energy Markets Compliance Specialistyour experience willbecritical instrengthening Akaysha's compliance posture and programasyou:
* Develop andmaintaincompliance frameworks and policies for global non-energy regulations and BESS projects, supporting operational compliance with the Principal Compliance Counsel.
* Identify, interpret, andallocateregulatory obligations across the business, translating complex requirements into practical actions, and supporting stakeholders in managing compliance.
* Assess compliance risks, evaluate and enhance controls, and implement scalable processes for continuousimprovement across corporate and project activities.
* Manage compliance systems by documenting obligations,maintainingincident logs, supporting investigations,report preparation, and updating frameworksin response toregulatory changes.
* Lead compliance reviews, audits, assurance activities, and stakeholder engagement; providing risk-based advice, targeted training, and support for regulatory and external assurance processes.
Making an impact in this role will rely on experience across the following areas:
* Development and implementation of complianceframeworkdesignthat enhancespoliciesand procedures across global operations.
* Identification ofcompliance risks, evaluating controls, and applying effective mitigation strategies to enhance governance and resilience.
* Effective collaboration acrossdiverse teams, conveyingregulatory requirements clearly and offeringactionable compliance advice.
* Proven analytical skills in managing compliance systems, generating precise reports,maintainingbreach logs, and ensuring data integrity within compliance platforms.
* Infrastructure, energy, or othercapital-intensive projects with regulatory exposure.
