Job Title: Track Protection Officer
We are seeking a skilled Track Protection Officer to oversee the safe and efficient operation of track maintenance and project works.
Job Description:
In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the safety and compliance of all activities within the rail corridor. You will be responsible for applying and enforcing Safeworking procedures, facilitating safe access to the track, and leading daily Pre-Work Briefings with work crews.
You will act as the key interface between the rail network and worksite teams, demonstrating a proactive approach to risk management and operational coordination.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct daily Pre-Work Briefings to ensure all crews are aware of Safeworking requirements.
* Apply and enforce Safeworking systems and procedures.
* Coordinate safe and timely access to the rail corridor for work groups.
* Interpret and manage site documentation including Safe Notices, Train Operating Conditions Waivers, Site Rail Diagrams, and Worksite Procedures.
* Proactively monitor safety and compliance across multiple worksites.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* 4WD Training.
