About the role We are looking for a Senior Associate (5+ years' PQE) to join our well regarded Dispute Resolution and Litigation team.
Working alongside Partners Michelle Dixon and Gina Wilson, this role will provide hands-on support across a variety of commercial disputes work for public and private clients including contractual disputes, corporations law litigation, regulatory disputes, property related litigation, investigations and inquiries, and intellectual property matters.
The work is interesting, complex and challenging which will see you working closely alongside exceptional litigators and like-minded professionals in a collaborative team environment with colleagues across Maddocks' national offices.
You will be recognised for personal achievements and receive mentoring to ensure your professional skills continue to grow and develop.
About you You will have solid private practice experience, sound knowledge of court practice and processes, and you will be confident in utilising your proven analytical and drafting skills.
Someone who is commercially minded, with a client-focused attitude will find themselves succeeding in this role.
In addition, you will have:
Broad commercial litigation experience (advisory, mediation, hearings and litigation);Strong technical, drafting and research skills;An engaging manner with excellent communication skills at all levels;Experience in leading and mentoring junior team members;Well-developed negotiation skills and sound judgement;Strong attention to detail.This is a fantastic time to join this team and build your career in a supportive and collegiate environment.
