It's no easy task, but nothing rewarding ever is.What you'll do:The purpose of this role will be to deliver support to Santos operations by performing warehouse tasks that ensure the on-time supply of inventory and the receipt, storage, preservation, and issuance of materials.
This will be delivered in line with the company values and in accordance with the Santos Management System.This position is located on Curtis Island (daily ferry to/from Gladstone).
It is a rostered role – 7 days on / 7 days off.Key accountabilities include:Ensure the quality, preservation, and accuracy of materials and equipment in Santos warehouses.Accurately receive, cycle count, and issue inventory.Complete warehousing tasks in line with Santos Risk Management, Work Health and Safety, and Chain of Responsibility (HVNL).Follow National Load Transport Guidelines and Dangerous Goods Regulations for loading and unloading tasks.Identify and address packaging, marking, shipping, quality, and quantity issues through the SCIF process.Maintain knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and Santos Procedures, and address compliance risks.Adhere to HSE legislation, Heavy Vehicle National Law, Dangerous Goods regulations, and Santos management standards.What you'll bring:We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Material Controller with previous experience in a similar role.
Your attention to detail and keen ability to work in a collaborative team is key, along with:Approachable and willing to go above and beyondForklift licence (essential)Ability to complete tasks requiring heavy and complex liftingPrior experience using SAP would be favourableExperience working with Dangerous Goods would be ideal (and qualifications to support even better!
