Civil Construction Supervisor - Victoria

The Role
We currently have a full-time opportunity for an experienced, skilled and motivated Civil Construction Supervisor to oversee key civil construction activities across our projects. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for supervising site-level operations including concrete placement, reinforcement installation, and formwork erection. This role is critical in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise civil construction activities across multiple sites.
* Ensure compliance with QEHS and WHS standards.
* Manage daily site operations, records, and reporting.
* Review and complete project documentation and as-built drawings.
* Support the Project Manager with planning, quotations, and team development.
* Coordinate site inductions and verify worker competencies.
* Ensure plant and equipment are compliant and fit for purpose.
* Identify and resolve design anomalies and site issues.
* Lead daily pre-starts, SWMS reviews, and emergency planning.
* Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure project expectations are met.

* Attend site meetings and elevate issues as required.
* Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar civil construction supervisory role.
* Trade qualification or tertiary training in civil construction, or equivalent experience.
* White Card, High Risk Licence, RF Awareness certification.
* Current Driver's Licence.
* Strong understanding of WHS, QEHS, and civil construction practices, particularly in telecommunications infrastructure.
* Proven ability to supervise concrete placement, reinforcement, and formwork erection.
* High-level computer and documentation skills.
* Willingness to travel and work in remote areas across Tasmania and Victoria.
* Flexibility to work overtime and away from home when required.
* Strong organisational, time management, and client relationship skills.
* Demonstrated initiative in improving productivity while maintaining compliance.
