Volunteer Programs Trainee – Camden Council in partnership with the NSW Government, offering a Volunteer Programs Trainee position as part of the 'Fresh Start for Local Government Apprentices, Trainees and Cadets Program.
Salary: $36,800 - $49,280 p.a. + Super. Salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award. Work Type: Temporary Full Time up to 2 years, proposed commencement in late November / early December 2025. Location: Oran Park Administration Building - 70 Central Avenue, Oran Park 2570.

What you will be doing
* Supporting the onboarding of volunteers and maintaining volunteer systems
* Assisting in the delivery of engaging volunteer programs and events
* Performing administrative and reporting tasks to support program operations
* Helping implement Camden Council's Volunteer Management Policy
* Working closely with the Volunteer Programs Coordinator to ensure smooth program delivery

What We Are Looking For
Essential
* Willingness to complete Certificate IV in Business Administration.
* Willingness to learn and contribute to a dynamic team.
* Ability to work both independently and within a team.
* Proactive attitude and attention to detail.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Good written and verbal communication skills, along with effective interpersonal abilities.
* Experience in MS Office suite at a basic-intermediate level.
* Current driver's licence (Full, Provisional P1 or P2).
Desirable
* Experience in the customer service industry.
* Experience working as a volunteer.
