Add expected salary to your profile for insightsWe are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused ICT Help Desk Support Officer to join our team on a 3-6-month contract, with the opportunity for extension or permanency for the right candidate.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical issues, thrives in a fast-paced workplace, and is passionate about delivering outstanding IT support.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide first-level IT support to staff across various sites (remotely and in-person)Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues efficientlyManage service desk tickets and maintain accurate records of incidents and resolutionsSet up and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other peripheralsAssist with the onboarding and offboarding of users, including account setupLiaise with internal teams and external vendors as requiredEnsure IT systems and practices adhere to organisational policies and compliance standardsAble to travel to visit various locationsAbout YouYou're a reliable, tech-savvy professional with strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent service.
You work well both independently and as part of a team.You Will Need2-5 years of proven experience in an ICT Help Desk or similar support roleRelevant IT qualifications (Certificate IV, Diploma, or higher in Information Technology or similar)Strong technical troubleshooting skills across Windows, Office 365, and common hardware platformsKnowledge of networking fundamentals and system administrationExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsStrong time management and problem-solving abilitiesA valid Driver's Licence (local travel will be required)Current National Police Check - mandatoryWorking with Children Check (WWCC) - mandatory (or willing to obtain one).
