Salary : $70,000 - $85,000 a year 
Award-winning Mercure Gerringong Resort is situated in the seaside village of Gerringong on the NSW South Coast, providing fantastic cuisine and some of Australia’s best wine at Bella Char Restaurant and Wine Bar. For inspiring conferences, gorgeous weddings and unforgettable special occasions, the resort’s state-of-the-art venues can accommodate groups of up to 180 guests with experienced event designers and caterers to handle every detail. 
Mercure Gerringong Resort is currently looking for hardworking and dedicated Chef to join their team. 
Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities: 
Skills in preparing different variety of cuisine 
Creativity and high presentation standards 
Ability to create dishes with consistency 
Skilled in preparing, seasoning, and cooking food according to recipes 
Ability to contribute to menu planning 
Understanding of food safety and OHS requirements 
Train and manage cooks and kitchen staff 
Achieving all safety, hygiene and food quality 
Should be able to manage daily kitchen operations including ordering. 
To be considered for the position you must possess the following: 
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role 
Relevant qualifications in commercial cookery 
Ability to excel in a high-volume, high-pressure workplace 
Proactive, energetic and shares a passion for the hospitality industry 
Possess effective communication skills with an approachable manner
