The roleThe Senior Manager, Remediation Sites leads complex contaminated land and remediation projects across NSW. The role provides expert scientific and technical advice, oversees investigations and remediation programs, and ensures compliance with environmental legislation and industry best practice.You will lead a small team, manage environmental contractors, collaborate with consultants and auditors, and deliver high-quality outcomes within budget and time constraints.Key AccountabilitiesDevelop best-practice procedures, guidelines and templates for contaminated land and remediation workProvide specialist environmental and scientific advice to guide decision-makingLead the development of innovative and cost-effective remediation solutionsManage and mentor a professional site remediation teamReview contractor reports for scientific accuracy and qualityOversee contaminated site assessments, due diligence, investigations and remediationEnsure compliance with relevant legislation, including the Contaminated Land Management Act 1997Work collaboratively with consultants, contractors, auditors and government stakeholders

Essential RequirementsTertiary qualifications in environmental science, geology, hydrogeology or a related disciplineA current and valid NSW Driver LicenceWillingness to travel across NSW to project sites
