Join us in making a difference!About the RoleWe’re seeking a skilled Workshop Fitter to join our Stapylton Cans Plant. This is a full-time permanent role on a day shift 6am – 2pm with overtime available.Reporting to the Site Services Manager, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production machinery.Working within the Workshop on machinery overhauls and assisting with tooling changeovers on the production line.Contribute to project work, including installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment.Work with high-speed manufacturing equipment, working to tight tolerances and precision.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing.What You’ll BringStrong experience in preventative and breakdown maintenance in manufacturing environments.Precision fitting experience and knowledge, working to microns.Passion for your trade and commitment to improvements.A proactive attitude and commitment to safety.What You’ll Love About VisyWhen you join Visy, you’re joining a team that values you.
