About the Role Based at our support office in Murarrie and reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for playing a key role in the Finance Team, managing a segment of the group’s high-volume Accounts Payable function to support our childcare centres. The role will be an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable officer to join and develop within a collaborative and supportive team environment, with a company that is growing at an exciting pace. You will do meaningful and satisfying work within an industry that makes a difference to children and families across Australia Key Responsibilities / Core Duties Managing the Accounts Payable inboxes and mail Checking and confirming company liability for payment Obtaining authorisations for payment Processing invoices into MYOB and allocating to expenditure and asset accounts Creditor reporting Facilitating fortnight payments runs and adhoc payments as required Statement reconciliations Supplier and key account management Working closely with team members to deliver the Accounts Payable function About You To be successful in this role and our organisation, you will be able to demonstrate the following qualifications, skills and aptitudes: Exceptional attention to detail whilst still being able to meet deadlines and thrive in a dynamic work environment Proactive, problem-solver and able to manage your own workload 3 years of experience in high volume Accounts Payable roles Advanced skills in recent versions of MYOB and Excel Experience in ledger reconciliations and data entry Strong written and verbal communication skills Motivated and results oriented with the ability to build relationships with people at all levels Must be a team player If you believe great attitudes build great teams and you’re ready to bring your best every day, we’d love to hear from you.
