THE POSITION
* Create dining experiences by preparing and presenting mouth‐watering meals made from fresh, high‐quality ingredients.
* Lead the way in safety by strictly following OH&S regulations, safe work practices, and gold‐standard food handling procedures.
* Drive operational excellence by managing catering controls smartly and minimising waste without compromising on quality.
* Set the benchmark for cleanliness with impeccable food hygiene, spotless workspaces, and top‐tier infection control—meeting and exceeding Compass standards.
THE PERSON
* Qualified with Certificate III Commercial Cookery, backed by hands‐on experience in high‐energy, fast‐paced kitchen environments
* Versatile culinary skills, with sharp time management and a strong focus on allergen safety
* Well‐versed in HACCP principles and committed to maintaining the highest standards in food safety and handling
* Genuinely passionate about food, with a strong drive to deliver outstanding dining experiences and exceptional customer service every time
