Employment Type: Fixed-term, Full-Time (Monday to Friday)
Contract Duration: 12-month maternity relief contract from July 2025 to August 2026

About the Role:
* Manage meal preparation and presentation for residents
* Lead and support the kitchen team in delivering efficient food services
* Ensure food safety, hygiene, and compliance with nutrition standards
* Design menus that are varied, innovative, and resident-informed
* Oversee stock management, budgeting, and cost controls
* Work closely with care and hotel services teams to respond to dietary needs
* Represent the service as Food Safety Officer and promote continuous improvement
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Significant experience in commercial cookery
* Strong leadership skills in managing kitchen staff and performance
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP compliance
* Valid NDIS Worker Screening or Police Check
* Queensland Driver's Licence
* Qualification in Commercial Cookery
* Experience in aged care or healthcare settings
