Finance Officer

MAF is seeking a Finance Officer to support our Support Office by keeping day-to-day financial operations accurate, timely, and running smoothly. Working closely with the Senior Accountant and Deputy Regional Finance Business Partner, this role plays a key part in enabling strong financial reporting and supporting MAF's life-saving mission around the world.

Responsibilities
What you'll do
In this role, you'll be the steady hand behind our Support Office finances, ensuring day-to-day transactions are processed accurately and on time. You'll manage bank, cash, and credit card transactions, complete monthly reconciliations, and help keep accounts balanced and compliant.
You'll support both accounts receivable and payable, preparing invoices, processing supplier payments, and following up outstanding items so nothing slips through the cracks. Along the way, you'll liaise with staff and customers, answering finance queries and helping others navigate processes with confidence.
Working closely with the Senior Accountant and Deputy Regional Finance Business Partner, you'll contribute to smooth month-end reporting and support strong financial controls. You'll also collaborate with colleagues across the organisation, providing cover within the Finance team when needed and contributing to a culture of service and teamwork. Qualifications, Skills & Experience
