To be successful you will have the following: Proven experience as a Workshop Manager in a piling, civil or heavy machinery environment. Extensive knowledge of piling/drilling rigs Trade qualifications – Diesel Mechanic or equivalent Strong background in hydraulics, electrics, and mechanical systems. Excellent leadership, time management, and communication skills. Safety-focused with a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs. Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing civil construction contractor with a strong footprint in Queensland and projects across Australia. With a fleet of over 100 machines, including advanced piling and drilling rigs, they are now seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead their workshop operations based in Brisbane’s south. This is a key leadership role for someone with proven experience managing heavy civil equipment, particularly in piling and drilling machinery. You’ll be responsible for coordinating servicing and repairs, leading a team of workshop technicians, and ensuring the fleet is site-ready and compliant at all times.
