About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Aged Care Support Professional to join our team. As an Aged Care Support Professional, you will be providing personalized home care support to older Australians in Bega, assisting them to continue living independently in their own homes.
You will support multiple clients each day, so a willingness to travel is essential (you will be reimbursed per kilometre travelled while you are working). We have two Casual opportunities available with shifts available between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Sunday, with no evening or overnight shifts.
Key Responsibilities
* Domestic Assistance: Provide assistance with meal preparation and light house cleaning tasks.
* Community Access: Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities.
* Personal Care: Assist with personal care including grooming and showering.
* Support Tasks: Help clients with daily tasks and routines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Patient Focus: Be passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of older Australians.
* Career Development: Have an Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle with minimum third-party insurance.
* Communication Skills: Possess strong communication skills to build and maintain positive relationships.
* Industry Knowledge: Hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate (must be obtained prior to employment).
