Main Responsibilities
Create scalable data engineering platforms on Microsoft Azure.
* Set up and manage Azure-based data engineering environments.
* Develop large-scale data warehousing solutions using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Synapse Analytics.
* Collaborate with teams to design optimized data processing pipelines and architectures.
* Ensure high availability, reliability and performance through effective monitoring and DevOps practices.
* Provide guidance on best practices for migrating data workloads to Azure.
Essential Skills
The ideal candidate will have:
* A minimum of 10 years of experience managing and maintaining large-scale databases.
* A degree in Engineering or a related field.
* Strong expertise in SQL Server database administration including design, maintenance, performance tuning and troubleshooting.
* Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipeline management.
