We're on the hunt for a hands‐on Duty Manager to join the team at Grafton Hotel. Whether you're already in a similar role or you're an experienced hospitality skilled ready to take the next step, we'd love to hear from you.
As a Duty Manager, you'll play a key role in the day‐to‐day operation of the venue, leading from the front, supporting the team, and ensuring our guests receive excellent service every time they visit.
What you'll be doing
* Opening and closing the venue
* Supporting the day‐to‐day operations across the venue
* Leading, supervising and developing team members
* Delivering exceptional customer service and resolving guest concerns
* Ensuring compliance across gaming, liquor licensing and venue operations
* Cash handling, banking procedures, till reconciliations and safe counts
* Supporting a positive and productive team culture
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a Duty Manager, Supervisor or similar hospitality leadership role
* Strong pub hospitality experience across food & beverage, bar and gaming, with a desire to step into a leadership position
* A hands‐on approach and willingness to lead by example
* Solid communication and problem‐solving skills
* Availability to work a flexible roster across days, nights, weekends and public holidays
What you'll need
* RSA, RSG, RMLV and Approved Manager Licence (or ability to obtain), along with a passion for hospitality and leading teams
