This role is responsible for designing and delivering induction programs, ongoing training, and one-on-one coaching for both internal Insurance Operations and external Administrator Insurance Operations teams.You’ll work closely with the Insurance Training Manager and collaborate with stakeholders across Insurance Risk & Governance and Insurance Claims Portfolio Management to ensure training is aligned with operational needs, regulatory obligations, and strategic objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in developing the Insurance Training Strategic Plan and frameworkConduct skills and training needs analysis across internal and external teamsMaintain and update training materials in line with operational processes and regulationsDesign and deliver training programs for Case Managers and broader insurance teamsUse data from Complaints & Voice of Customer to inform training opportunitiesDevelop training modules and maintain a centralised training libraryPrepare engaging learning materials, including case studies and simplified regulatory contentDeliver training in both face-to-face and virtual formatsAssess trainee knowledge and evaluate training effectivenessProvide monthly training reports and maintain documentationExplore the use of AI and insurer-provided materials to enhance training contentAbout YouYou’ll bring a strong background in insurance within superannuation, particularly Group Insurance, and a passion for learning and development. You’re confident delivering training to diverse audiences and skilled at translating complex information into accessible content.Key Selection CriteriaQualifications in learning and development/training (desirable)Advanced knowledge of insurance in superannuation, including underwriting and claimsExperience delivering training programs and coaching in varied environmentsStrong understanding of adult learning principlesProficiency in LMS, e-learning tools, and Microsoft 365Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skillsA proactive, customer-focused mindsetAbout CbusCreated by workers, for workers, Cbus Super is one of Australia’s most successful Superannuation funds.
