Location: Mount Druitt Community Dialysis Centre, Western Sydney
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in our Haemodialysis unit, you will deliver high‑quality care to patients with chronic kidney disease. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver specialised nursing care and escalations to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Advocate for patients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring culturally sensitive care.
- Uphold skilled standards and comply with WSLHD policies and procedures.
- Mentor and support staff and students in clinical practice.
Essential Criteria
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) – NSW Registered Nurse, Division 1.
Selection Criteria
- Recent Haemodialysis experience.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills – written and verbal.
- Commitment to professional development.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement processes.
