ABOUT THE ROLE
Norton Gold Fields is seeking an experienced Inventory Officer to join our Business Services Support team. This role is responsible for managing inventory and cataloguing requirements across all operations, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and cost efficiency.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
* Process ANSI applications promptly, ensuring compliance with procedures, OHSE, and expenditure approval matrix.
* Manage cataloguing of goods, materials, commodities, chemicals, and equipment.
* Maintain accurate inventory levels across multiple mine sites in line with company procedures.
* Upload, monitor, and maintain data within the Pronto and SAP ERP systems.
* Identify and eliminate duplication of materials, ensuring standardisation across sites.
* Support continuous improvement by reducing waste, optimising stock, and driving cost savings.
* Liaise with warehouse, procurement, vendors, and OEMs to resolve inventory issues promptly.
* Provide regular reporting and recommendations on inventory performance.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
* 5+ years' experience in supply management, with 3+ years in inventory management.
* Strong knowledge of mine site operations, equipment, and mineral processing.
* Experience with ERP systems (Pronto essential, SAP desirable).
* Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently with a strong customer service focus.
* WA Manual Driver's Licence required; Supply/Purchasing qualifications highly desirable.
