As the Operational Officer, you will provide efficient and effective linen service duties, including production and distribution of linen-to-Linen Service clients, achieving efficiency whilst maintaining a safe work environment and delivering a balanced workflow that will meet our customer requirements.What you'll doSorting of soiled linenFeeding linen into production equipment to fold and iron.Hand fold of linenPacking of clean linenDistribution of linen at facilitiesOperation of tug equipmentDelivery of clean linen to wardsCollection of soiled linen from wardsGeneral cleaning duties, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, rubbish collection and removal in all areas of the facility.Other cleaning duties as required.About youThis is a manual handling position requiring you to:repetitive manual handling of laundry itemssorting soiled linen.Some workstations require the use of specialised PPE.Demonstrated ability to effectively use automated machinery and some computerised equipment.Ability to develop collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders and team members and ability to effectively communicate and influence staff.Why work with us?Work alongside passionate professionals in a supportive and inclusive environment that values people and prioritises employee success and wellbeing.
