The RoleThis role will be based in our pathology laboratory and dispensary in Alexandria, Sydney.Core responsibilities include:Reporting and reviewing results.General laboratory cleaning, calibration, and maintenance.Supporting and shipping from the dispensary, including building test kits.Participating in research projects and developing new testing protocols.Engaging with internal and external stakeholders, troubleshooting, and ensuring best practice.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will bring:Experience in a laboratory setting (functional pathology experience highly regarded).
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently.Confidence managing competing priorities and deadlines.Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite / Google Docs.A team-focused attitude with strong customer service skills.Flexibility to support both lab and dispensary operations as required.Highly regarded experience:IC-MS and method development.Roche equipment and ELISA (manual or semi-automatic).
Minimum qualification: Diploma in Laboratory Technology or equivalent, with subjects relevant to medical science, pathology or medical laboratory operations.
