About the Role
We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic Weekend Chef to join our vibrant team at one of Cater Care’s leading aged care sites in Armadale. In this hands‑on role, you’ll do more than just cook – you’ll help create moments of comfort and connection for our residents through delicious, thoughtfully prepared meals.

Roster: Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
What You’ll Be Doing
- Create and present fresh, delicious meals for residents and staff
- Support daily kitchen operations and bulk meal preparation
- Deliver friendly, effective service with a smile
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen
- Follow food and general safety practices
- Prepare and present texture‑modified foods with care and precision
Desired Skills And Experience
- Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a similar role (aged care experience preferred but not essential)
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Excellent communication, time management, and attention to detail
- A positive attitude and passion for great food
