We are seeking a Personal Assistant to work directly with leading orthopaedic surgeons. We will be moving into a state of the art first class facility purpose built for upper limb surgical care. The clinic and office will be located on the top floor with beautiful views of the city and parklands. This full-time position offers variety, autonomy and the opportunity to play a vital role in the day-to-day coordination of high-quality surgical care.

About the Role
This is more than just a PA job — it's a front-facing, fast-paced role requiring initiative, discretion, and excellent communication.
You'll be responsible for:
- Coordinating patient appointments and surgical scheduling
- Handling inbound phone enquiries with empathy and efficiency
- Liaising with hospitals, theatres, and other healthcare professionals
- Managing equipment logistics for surgery
- Preparing and managing medical correspondence
- Billing, banking, and payment reconciliation
- Providing confidential and high-level administrative support to both patients and the surgeon
What We're Looking For
You must have:
- A warm, polished, and professional phone manner
- A strong customer service mindset and attention to detail
- Excellent time management and task prioritisation skills
- A calm, confident presence — especially under pressure
- Proven ability to work independently and within a small team
- Prior experience in medical administration
- The ability to build rapport with patients and healthcare stakeholders
Highly Regarded Skills
While not essential, the following are a big advantage:
- Experience using medical software – We use Xestro, but any experience if helpful.
- Familiarity with the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) and Health Fund billing
- Prior PA or executive assistant experience in a clinical setting
- Experience working in private medical rooms
