Job Title: Clinical Nurse
The WA Country Health Service is seeking a skilled and dedicated clinical nurse to join our team in the Pilbara region. As a clinical nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the improvement of health outcomes for our community.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver comprehensive evidence-based nursing care to patients, using advanced leadership and nursing skills and knowledge relevant to the practice setting of the Emergency Department.
* Manage, coordinate, and deliver care that is patient-centered, safe, and effective.
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
* Develop and implement individualized care plans that take into account the unique needs and circumstances of each patient.
* Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote healthy behaviors and self-management of chronic conditions.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
Requirements
* Advanced clinical knowledge and experience in the delivery of evidence-based nursing care within the relevant practice setting.
* Demonstrated advanced skills in planning, coordination, and decision-making.
* Well-developed team leadership and membership skills.
* High-level communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
* Current knowledge of legislative and policy obligations for Nursing practice, Equal Opportunity, Public Sector, Standards, Disability Services, Aboriginal Cultural Respect Framework, and Occupational Safety and Health.
* Ability to work on-call roster as required.

Eligibility Criteria
* Valid working visa (for fixed-term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).
* Eligibility for sponsorship may be considered for some vacancies.
To be considered for this position, applicants must have a valid registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Board (AHPRA).
