Cruise Consultant - Travel About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Cruise Consultant to join a quick-paced travel team at a leading cruise brand known for delivering unforgettable experiences. You'll handle end-to-end travel bookings, craft personalised cruise packages, and ensure every client enjoys a seamless and memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality customer service to both direct customers and trade partners, handling enquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
- Prepare quotes, follow up on leads, and convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
- Book and manage cruises, flights, hotels, transfers, and packaged itineraries
- Process payments, deposits, and documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Resolve customer queries efficiently, liaising with internal departments and suppliers where required.
- Actively contribute to meeting KPIs and sales targets, driving repeat and referral business.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years in travel within a retail, wholesale, or cruise position.
- Strong knowledge of cruise products, airfare and GDS (experience essential).
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional phone manner.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a high-volume environment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
