Overview
Our client is a global giant in the industrial equipment rental space based in South West Sydney. Employing north of 600 people locally and thousands more globally, they are on a rapid growth trajectory. After acquiring a group of smaller operations in the local market and restructuring their marketing function, they are looking to bring in a senior marketing resource to work closely with the Marketing Director to deliver a significant programme of work. This will primarily involve consolidating a number of smaller brands into one to set up a best in class creative services division to enable continued growth.
As Marketing Manager - Creative Services your role will be responsible for leading and managing social media, public relations content and offline marketing initiatives across the Australian and New Zealand region. Your role will play a critical part in building brand awareness, engaging target audiences, and supporting business growth through strategic content development and regional marketing execution. You will ensure that marketing works hand in glove with sales and branch operations and that sales teams have everything they need from a marketing standpoint to deliver the best outcome and service to customers. To assist with delivering your role you will manage a small team of marketing support people.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage social media, public relations content and offline marketing initiatives across Australia and New Zealand.
- Build brand awareness, engage target audiences and support business growth through strategic content development and regional marketing execution.
- Collaborate with sales and branch operations to ensure marketing supports sales outcomes and customer service excellence.
- Manage a small team of marketing support people.
Qualifications
- Strong commercial marketing leader who understands digital and social media, product, category and catalogue production. Experience in a B2B setting is most likely.
- Ideally some exposure to franchise or branch models.
- Experience managing a large rebrand project and understanding the complexities of delivering such projects seamlessly.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to build a culture, drive efficiencies and performance.
