Lead Research and Engagement Specialist
The Mental Health and Research team plays a crucial role in the delivery of evidence-based innovative programs and initiatives that promote safe and healthy work, including mentally healthy workplaces.
This position leads and manages innovative initiatives and research programs for the Comcare scheme. The successful candidate will ensure the utilisation of data and evidence-based approaches in the development, monitoring, evaluation, translation, and promotion of applied research.
Main Responsibilities:
* Developing, managing and sustaining internal and external senior stakeholder relationships to achieve successful knowledge translation and outcomes that inform better practice across the scheme.
* Leading and managing innovative initiatives and research programs for the Comcare scheme.
Qualifications and Experience:
Mandatory Requirements:
1. Tertiary qualifications in research and/or relevant health field.
2. Experience with research synthesis and data analysis, including use of statistical software such as SPSS, Qualtrics.
3. Experience working within work health and safety and/or workers' compensation fields.
Eligibility and Specific Conditions of Employment:
Essential Requirements:
1. Clearance from Australian criminal history check.
2. Employee health declaration.
3. Six months probationary period for new engagements.
Specific Conditions:
1. Intra and interstate travel is required, including overnight absences.
