Disability Support Worker – Join Our Compassionate Team

Location: Based in Wangaratta, covering North East Victoria

Employment Type: Casual / Part-Time / Full-Time (flexible options available)

Salary: Paid at award rates (based on experience and qualifications)

Key Responsibilities


• Provide respectful and empowering personal care and daily living support


• Assist with community access, appointments, and social engagement


• Follow individualised support plans and document progress notes


• Uphold NDIS practice standards, WHS protocols, and organisational policies


• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients and

* Sleep overs
* Personal care
* Domestic duties
* Community Connection and engagement

What You'll Need


• Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, Aged Care, Nursing, Teaching


• Current First Aid & CPR certification


• Valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle


• NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children Check, Police Check


• Strong communication skills and a commitment to procedural fairness

• Animal Husbandry at Our Therapeutic Farm

Care for cows, horses, chooks, ducks, and rabbits — fostering connection through gentle routines and outdoor activity.


• Carpentry & Gardening Groups

Build, grow, and create alongside clients in our structured skill-building sessions. From veggie patch planting to timber projects, it's hands-on and rewarding.


• Client Hub Activities

Support clients in cooking groups, games, art and craft sessions, and social events through our active Social Club — a space for creativity, laughter, and community.
