Position: Senior Medical Officer in General Practice.
Shift details: From 12/06/2026 17:30 to 15/06/2026 08:00 at $2500 per day. Rate per day: $2500.00.

He on call doctor overnight is expected to attend the hospital when requested to attend by Nursing staff. Provide medical care to inpatients, complete discharge summaries and review admitted patients as requested. Provide onsite medical care to patients presenting to the emergency department.
Provide medical care to admitted postoperative patients. Complete contemporaneous and comprehensive clinical documentation in eMR.
Provide and lead clinical review, rapid response, trauma and cardiac arrest services across the facility Check pathology and radiology results in the ED results message centre ordered by any doctor, follow-up and document management plans for any results needed further action and review any patients returning for follow-up of results. Provide surgical assistance in theatre when required. Participate in the training and supervision of students, junior medical officers and registrars. Participate in morbidity and mortality meetings, MDT meetings and other clinical meetings as requested.
Requirements: Candidates must be registered with AHPRA and have the Right to Work in Australia.
