Overview
Are you a natural leader with a passion for coffee and a commitment to outstanding customer service? Five Senses Coffee is seeking an experienced and motivated West Coast Field Service Supervisor to join our dedicated technical team in Western Australia.
In this pivotal role, you’ll report to the National Technical Service Manager and be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of our WA-based technical team, coordination of third-party service providers across WA, NT, and SA, and management of our WA workshops. You’ll also oversee the parts department, ensuring smooth, effective operations across service delivery, logistics, and workshop productivity.
In addition to leading the West Coast operations, this position acts as a key support to the East Coast Field Service Supervisor during periods of high demand or absence, ensuring national consistency in service delivery and technical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and support WA-based field technicians and workshop teams.
- Manage third-party service providers across WA, NT, and SA to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Oversee operations at WA workshop locations (ARK, WBA, RFB) to maintain performance and quality.
- Supervise the parts department to ensure timely replenishment, allocation, and inventory accuracy.
- Act as secondary support for East Coast field operations as required.
- Ensure customer service excellence through efficient case management and technician dispatch.
- Monitor performance metrics and service quality, escalating issues where needed.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across service and workshop operations.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, company policies, and technical standards.
Desirable Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in a supervisory or senior technical field services role, ideally within the coffee, hospitality, or equipment industries.
- Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
- Experience using ServiceMax or a similar service management platform (essential).
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage operations across multiple regions and coordinate remote contractors.
- Familiarity with inventory and parts systems, as well as workshop operations.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
