Contract Position, Part Time (0.80 FTE), fixed term starting Term 3 (27 July 2026).
About the Role
The role involves planning, managing and implementing the Junior School HPE and sports program, delivering timetabled classes and curricular and co‐curricular programmes.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging HPE lessons consistent with the curriculum.
* Manage the Junior School HPE and sports program, including resources, schedules, and assessment.
* Collaborate with colleagues, students, families, and the community.
* Provide a safe, inclusive, supportive learning environment for all primary students.
* Adhere to Commonwealth Privacy and Safeguarding legislation.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Valid Working with Vulnerable People Registration (Tasmania).
* Registration with the Tasmanian Teachers Registration Board (TRB).
* Proven ability to deliver high‐quality timetabled classes and curriculum/co‐curricular programmes.
* Commitment to academic excellence and a supportive teaching environment.
