Electrical Maintenance Technician
This is a 2nd shift position that requires working from 3:00 p.m. to 11:15 p.m.
Key Responsibilities:
* Read and Interpret Blueprints: Determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations by reading drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications.
* Install and Troubleshoot Electrical Equipment: Install, clean, inspect, calibrate, and maintain electrical equipment throughout the facility with minimal supervision.
* Perform Electrical Work Safely: Conduct electrical work safely and professionally in accordance with Federal and State Regulations.
* Assemble and Install Electrical Components: Assemble, install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.
* Troubleshoot Complex Systems: Repair and troubleshoot AC/DC variable speed drives, motor controls, PLCs, process controls, and building systems such as lighting, alarms, and security systems.
* Prioritize and Plan Work: Prioritize work, plan schedules, and follow up on assignments while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
* Respond to Emergency Repairs: Respond to emergency repairs during off-hours when required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
* Maintain Equipment and Records: Conduct preventive maintenance, keep maintenance records, and ensure all equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
* Operate Industrial Equipment: Operate equipment including industrial forklifts, personnel lifts, skid steer loaders, and other mobile equipment safely and efficiently.
Requirements:
* Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
* Experience: 2+ years of experience in electrical maintenance.
* Certifications: OSHA certification and relevant trade certifications.
