About the Role
As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests.
Your day will involve a mix of reception duties, guest service, and administrative support to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for all visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Welcoming guests with professionalism and a warm, friendly attitude
Managing check-ins and check-outs efficiently
Responding to guest enquiries via phone, email, and in person
Processing payments and maintaining accurate records
Assisting with reservations and general front office tasks
Providing local knowledge and support to enhance the guest experience
Assisting other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations
Ensuring the lobby and reception area remain clean and organised
About You
We're looking for someone who brings positivity, reliability and a genuine passion for hospitality.
Requirements
Previous experience in a hotel or customer-facing role (preferred but not essential)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
Solid computer skills and the ability to learn new systems
Previous experience using Opera Cloud (preferred but not essential)
A professional, well-presented manner
Availability to work a rotating roster including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
Valid work visa or Australian work rights
