Overview

The Clubhouse is a up-to-date club that caters for everyone with a Beer Garden & Bistro that is the heart of our venue. Open 7 Days a week we have a plentiful menu and constantly rotating chefs specials served alongside our extensive range of draught beer, cocktails and many more drinks that pair perfectly with our relaxed local vibe.

What We’re Looking For

A career minded Head Chef ready to take the lead in an ever-growing kitchen. We are searching for someone with the ability to be hands on during service, have consistant high standards, a passion for food and the ability to lead and motivate the kitchen team.

What You’ll Need

- Previous Experience in a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef Role
- Experience managing, rostering, training and creating a positive team culture
- Confidence managing kitchen financials and maintaining profitability
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster including Evenings, Weekends & Public Holidays
- A demonstrated understanding of Food Safety Standards/Regulations & HACCP principals.

As Head Chef you Will

- Oversee day to day operations in the kitchen.
- Bring energy, creativity and passion into creating daily specials and vibrant menus to suit the Club’s demographic
- Lead, Mentor & inspire a small kitchen team including a 1st year Apprentice
- Work with the Venue Manager to Manage Ordering, Stock Control, Food Cost & Kitchen efficiencies
- Collaborate with FOH on pairings, special events & promos
