About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Receptionist to join our dynamic team at SA Eye Specialists Pty Ltd in Woodville South, SA. This is a part-time role with an opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of our eye care practice. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive experience.
What you'll be doing
* Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner
* Scheduling appointments and managing the daily appointment calendar
* Handling patient inquiries and providing information about our services
* Maintaining accurate patient records and updating patient information
* Assisting with administrative tasks, such as managing inventory and ordering supplies
* Liaising with healthcare providers and insurance companies as needed
* Providing exceptional customer service to ensure a positive patient experience
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a similar receptionist or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare or medical setting
* Must have Australian work rights or valid work visa to be eligible for this position
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, staff, and healthcare providers in a professional and courteous manner
* Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
* Proficient in using computer software, including scheduling and patient management systems
* A friendly, empathetic, and patient-focused approach to customer service
* A desire to contribute to the overall success and growth of the practice
