An industry star, our client has been providing optimal service to truck owners for over 25 years and is now looking for an experienced Group Parts Manager to join the team to elevate the parts departments at two locations.
**About the role**
Looking for a Group Parts Manager to lead and support a team, driving sales targets and optimizing parts utilization for customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include defining strategies, exploring new business opportunities, managing a 1.3M inventory, and fostering a positive work environment.
**Duties**
- Strong management skills to Lead, Manage and guide Parts Sales employees
- Achieving the target relating to sales and profits for parts and accessories
- Achieving the highest possible parts potential utilisation in the dealership area
- Ensure high customer satisfaction, availability of parts or delivery readiness, combined with skilled advice.
- Define and implement targets and suitable measures for the Parts Sales department
- Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships or new products and services
- Observe the market for Parts Sales and initiate marketing activities
- Steer and control operational management, manage 1.3M inventory.
- Health and Safety Duties
- Maintains positive and productive relationships with team members and colleagues
- Promote an environment of mutual respect
**Skills and experience**
- 5+ Years experience in Parts Management
- Truck parts management experience is highly desirable
- Experience managing parts departments
- Experience in managing large inventory
- Well-developed large inventory control and business management skills.
- Experience with using a dealership DMS, software and IT.
- Highly developed relationship skills.
- Proven ability in managing staff and fostering teamwork.
- Effective time management skills.
