Trippas White Group has a proud history of providing boutique and exceptional hospitality services to guests in our iconic venues around Sydney. We are excited to be recruiting for the event spaces in the Sydney Opera House.
The Role
This role is responsible for ensuring that all events are prepared and executed in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner based on the event guidelines provided by the events team and to the operational standards outlined by the Venue. The position also involves developing a strong, reliable, and professional events service team while adhering to wage cost controls. You will work directly with the Event Logistics Supervisor and logistics team to ensure timely communication and allocation of furniture, equipment, and beverages for all events. Conducting pre-event briefings with the Kitchen and FOH service teams is essential to ensure collaborative execution and client satisfaction, covering set-up, running order, timeframes, dietary requirements, etc.
To be successful in this role
* Minimum 2+ years of event supervisory experience
* Flexibility to work a rotating roster from Monday to Sunday
* Exceptional grooming and pride in presentation
* Ability to mentor, lead, and coach team members
* Adherence to all HACCP standards
