Job Description
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Payroll Management: Manage the payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate payment for all staff, utilising knowledge of relevant Employment Benefits Agreements (EBAs) and awards for successful fortnightly payment.
* Accounting Support: Assist in month-end closure and report generation, perform account and bank reconciliation, and assist with accounts payable/receivable.
* Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records and data, ensuring compliance with accounting and tax regulations.
* Financial Planning: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, supporting the finance manager and wider team with any ad-hoc tasks.
The Successful Applicant
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer who:
* Has at least 2 years of experience managing end-to-end payroll processes.
* Has exposure to multiple EBAs and awards in a payroll setting, with knowledge of bank reconciliations.
* Demonstrates strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
