Your New Role:
Please note when applying this is a Casual role with varying hours of work. This is a chance to work with a flexible schedule that accommodates students, parents or those seeking additional hours.
Location: Gatton
Shifts available: Wednesday 10am – 3:30pm (ongoing)
Community Access: Accompany the participant to appointments and community access
Help at Home: assisting with light domestic duties and other tasks as required
You will need to be able to develop meaningful and professional relationships with the participants and families.
Your English and comprehension skills must be excellent
Qualifications and Skills:
* Prior experience supporting clients with disabilities highly desirable
* Must have a valid driver's licence and own reliable transport
* Current Paid employee Blue Card (or willing to obtain before employment)
* Current Paid employee Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain before employment)
* Current First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain before employment)
* NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module (or willing to obtain before employment)
* Full Australian working rights
* Smart phone with internet access
* Two current (within the past 2 years) professional references from a supervisor will be required
