We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Venue Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality management, creating events and working in a diverse venue. As an Assistant Venue Manager, you will support the Venue Manager in the day-to-day operations of the venue.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations during scheduled shifts, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company standards.
- Manage and motivate a team of employees, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Assist in recruiting, training, and evaluating staff performance.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Ensure the venue meets all health, safety, licensing and legal obligations.
- Lead all facets of the venue in the absence of the Venue Manager.
- Work with the Venue Manager to ensure all administrative duties are performed in a thorough but timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in hospitality management
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software
