Salary range $82,000 - $92,000 + superannuation
The Opportunity
Nexl is seeking a full-time Product Designer to design, develop and improve the user interface, layout and usability of Nexl's web-based SaaS platform.
The Product Designer will be responsible for producing web interface designs, wireframes, prototypes and reusable UI components, and working closely with internal stakeholders and software engineers to implement web design solutions.
What You'll Own & Do:
* Designing and producing web page layouts and user interface designs for a web-based SaaS platform
* Developing and refining navigation structures, interface layouts and interaction patterns to improve usability
* Creating user flows, wireframes, mock‐ups, and high‐fidelity UI designs for web application modules
* Producing interactive prototypes to demonstrate web interface behaviour and user navigation
* Preparing design specifications and web assets for development handover and implementation
* Maintaining and improving reusable web UI components and contributing to a web design system
* Ensuring web designs meet usability standards, accessibility requirements and visual consistency guidelines
* Conducting usability testing and incorporating feedback to improve web interface performance
* Collaborating with product and engineering teams to deliver web‐based design solutions within project timelines
* Reviewing implemented web interfaces to ensure design quality and consistency across the platform
What We're Looking For:
Must haves:
* At least 1 year relevant experience in web design for websites and/or web-based applications
* A Bachelor degree in Digital Design/Media Media studies Interactive and Mobile Media, computer science, or other relevant studies in the equivalent level.
* Demonstrated ability to design web interfaces, layouts, and navigation structures
* Strong experience producing wireframes, prototypes and high‐fidelity web UI designs
* Understanding of web usability principles, accessibility standards and user‐centred design
* Ability to collaborate effectively with software engineers and internal stakeholders
* Proficiency in modern web design tools such as Figma (or similar)
Nice to haves:
* Experience designing complex or data‐driven web platforms
* Experience contributing to a web design system or reusable component library
* Experience working on B2B SaaS products
