Lead Airport Fresh Retail Manager
A new opportunity has arisen to take your leadership skills to the next level in a fast-paced airport environment. As a Lead Fresh Retail Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple fresh retail stores within Sydney Domestic Airport, including our Grab & Go category.
This is a hands-on role where you will oversee the management of three key sub-categories:
1. **Fresh**: Manage sandwiches, wraps, retail-ready yoghurts and snacks made on-site from a shared kitchen space.
2. **Coffee**: Oversee the automatic coffee service using state-of-the-art machines offering passengers a value coffee experience.
3. **Bakery**: Ensure the availability of a range of sweet and savoury pastries.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining exceptional presentation and brand standards, managing store areas with attention to detail, upholding high levels of merchandising, and collaborating with other Store Managers to deliver sales and margin targets.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience working in a fresh retail environment, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a shared kitchen space. You will also need to possess strong administrative skills to manage multiple cost centres, stock transfers, and ordering. Additionally, experience in team management, waste minimisation, food safety guidelines, and flexibility to work rotating shifts are essential requirements.
