We are currently seeking skilled and motivated IT Field Engineers to support a variety of client environments in Newcastle and surrounding locations on an ad‐hoc basis. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who enjoy flexible, hands‐on work and have experience in End User Computing (EUC), Network Hardware installations, desktop rollouts, and IT support.

Skills & Experience
* Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
* Ability to diagnose and resolve networking issues
* Proven experience in network systems configuration, testing and installations
* Excellent troubleshooting skills with proven capability
* Knowledge of MS Windows OS and MS Office Suite
* Experience in MS Active Directory and IP telephony would be an advantage
* Ability to work independently and communicate directly with onsite client
* Excellent presentation and communication skills
* IT Degree, training or experience
* Strong time management and prioritising skills
Responsibilities
* Provide IT support for PCs, mobiles, printers, AV devices and basic networks
* Investigate, diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to end‐user devices
* Installing and imaging PC devices in a Windows environment
* Provide 1st and 2nd level deskside support
* Provide hardware support in a data centre environment
* Liaise with remote support to resolve issues
This role is ideal for freelancers, part‐timers or technicians looking to supplement their schedule. Shifts vary depending on bookings and may include early mornings, evenings and weekends.
