About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Environmental Services Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. In this role, you will play an important part in maintaining a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.
Key responsibilities include:
* Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in line with infection control guidelines
* Ensuring all equipment is cleaned, restocked, and stored appropriately
* Taking responsibility and accountability for your allocated duties
* Following safe work practices and adhering to workplace health and safety requirements
Your Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role, you will ideally bring:
* Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare or similar environment (highly desirable)
* Experience with cleaning machinery such as floor scrubbers (highly desirable)
* A sound understanding of OHS and safe work practices
* The ability to prioritise tasks and complete work to a high standard safely and efficiently
