The purpose of this role is to provide high-quality phlebotomy and pathology support services, including specimen collection, specimen reception and laboratory support activities, to ensure efficient and effective pathology operations.
What you'll do
In this role you will collect blood and other specimens from patients, process and receive pathology specimens, perform data entry and specimen reception duties, maintain stock and consumables, support quality and accreditation requirements, and assist with the day-to-day operation of the pathology service.
About you
We are searching for someone who:
* Has experience in phlebotomy and/or specimen collection
* Has knowledge of pathology or specimen reception procedures
* Can work accurately in a fast-paced clinical environment
* Has strong communication and patient service skills
