The Role We are seeking an experienced SAP HCM Solution Architect to join a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation program focused on modernising enterprise HR, Payroll and workforce management platforms. Location: North Sydney – Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days WFH) Duration: 12 month initial contract with strong likelihood of extension Day Rate: $1200 - $1400 including super This role will play a key part in designing and governing end-to-end HCM solution architecture across SAP SuccessFactors and S/4HANA, supporting the modernisation of HR and Payroll systems within a complex enterprise environment. In addition to the core HR and Payroll transformation, this position will oversee the definition of enterprise requirements for a new Time & Attendance platform, helping shape the requirements, market engagement and RFP process during 2026 ahead of a major implementation planned for 2027. You will work closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT and enterprise architecture teams to ensure solutions are scalable, compliant and aligned to long-term workforce management and payroll capabilities. Responsibilities Lead solution architecture for enterprise HR and Payroll platforms across SAP SuccessFactors and S/4HANA Design end-to-end HCM solutions covering HR, employee lifecycle, payroll processing and time management Define enterprise requirements for a Time & Attendance solution, supporting market evaluation and RFP development Support architectural delivery of an existing SuccessFactors / S/4HANA HR and Payroll implementation Develop end-to-end process flows covering HR master data, position management, time capture and payroll processing Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, clean core principles and SAP best practices Define integration architecture across SAP and non-SAP platforms using APIs, middleware and cloud integration services Lead architecture workshops with business and technical stakeholders Document solution designs, architecture decisions and integration patterns Experience 7 years’ experience delivering SAP HR / Payroll solutions within complex enterprise environments Strong Solution Architecture experience across SAP SuccessFactors and S/4HANA landscapes Experience supporting HR transformation or workforce management programs Strong knowledge of SuccessFactors Employee Central and HR system integrations Experience with Time Management or Time & Attendance platforms such as UKG/Kronos, SAP Time Tracking or similar Strong understanding of payroll configuration, time valuation and HR master data models Experience working within large transformation programs (ideally SAP ECC to S/4HANA) Strong stakeholder engagement skills across HR, Payroll, Finance and Technology teams Please apply ASAP to secure an interview slot for this week!
