This is an excellent opportunity to be part of an essential team providing soft services such as Catering, Cleaning, and Utility services to a well-known Oil & Gas Company in the Pilbara, WA.
Benefits Provided Uniforms / PPE and Accommodation An Employee Assistance Program offering support and counselling services for personal or work-related issues Key Responsibilities This role involves maintaining high standards of daily food and menu preparation, cooking, dining room service, and cleaning and upkeep of Minesite and Crib room facilities. The areas must always be kept clean, orderly, and well-maintained. Occasional ad hoc support to the Management Team may be required.
Duties include:
Preparing high-quality, nutritious, and well-presented meals, including bulk food prep and labelling Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices in line with HACCP guidelines Assisting the Head Chef with end-of-month stock takes Ensuring the main facility and work areas are clean and presentable, kitchenware is washed and stored, rubbish is removed, and areas are tidy Maintaining kitchen premises and equipment Cleaning site offices, facilities, crib rooms, and ablutions Completing tasks within set timeframes and responding to cleaning requests Using and storing chemicals safely, maintaining supplies of cleaning materials Following Cleaning Policies and Procedures Reporting maintenance issues to the Supervisor Assisting other departments as needed About You You should have previous cleaning experience, be highly organized, and possess strong time and priority management skills. A commitment to hygiene and safety, along with a positive attitude, is essential.
You will possess:
VALID WA C Class License Australian Working Rights Ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical, including Fit Testing, Functional Testing, and Drug & Alcohol Screening Current National Police Check (within 6 months) Experience at a Mine Site Facility (desirable) Qualifications such as First Aid, Food Safety Awareness, Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery, Forklift license (desirable) Additional skills include:
