An excellent opportunity has arisen for a motivated Paralegal to join a well-established and growing North Sydney law firm with a strong reputation in litigation, family law, and wills & estates. With a team of approximately 32 staff, the firm offers the resources of a mid-sized practice while maintaining a supportive and collaborative culture. You will be working closely with an approachable and personable Family Law Special Counsel, gaining hands-on exposure to complex and meaningful matters. The Role This position will see you providing dedicated support within the family law team, assisting on a broad range of matters including parenting disputes, property settlements, and financial agreements. Key responsibilities include: Assisting with the preparation and drafting of court documents Preparing briefs, affidavits, and chronologies Liaising with clients, counsel, courts, and external experts Conducting legal research Managing files and maintaining accurate records Coordinating court dates and diarising key deadlines Assisting with mediation and hearing preparation This is a hands-on role offering genuine responsibility and the opportunity to develop strong technical and procedural knowledge in family law.
